How do we choose?
Many people in new-age circles believe that they'll become immortal should they stay a religious life. This is their means of trying to stave off God's wrath and save themselves from punishment for all your “sins” they have committed in that lifetime. Nevertheless, this isn't what A Program in Miracles teaches.
Based on the Course, we've to select involving the ego's believed program and the Sacred Spirit's. We must decide which one we wish to be the Judge of our lives.
If we are to choose rightly, we must be aware of an inconceivable level of data; past, present and future. And we should be sure that our judgments are totally good to everyone and every thing associated with them. What is the Holy Spirit's judgment?
The Sacred Soul, the Heart of Truth who we obtain in Baptism and in fullness in Proof, can be the Heart of judgment. When He visits the individual soul, He exposes sin. He uncovers the filth that's accumulated on its surface and, like a priest in a leprous house, passes a judgment of condemnation upon it all. Then, he sets it unstoppable and eats it. It's difficult for failure to stand contrary to the burning flames of God's wrath.
Jesus shows people in the Top Room that the Holy Heart “reproves the entire world of failure, and of righteousness, and of judgment.” That word reprove (elegcho) means to expose, as in exposing a watch on test, or even to cross-examine, as in a courtroom. Their greater meaning is to convict, as in a decide trying to show a offender guilty in the judge of law. The Sacred Heart attempts the center and conscience of the lost soul, and by the full time He's completed, that missing heart will sense subjected, convicted, and condemned. a course in miracles

What is the Son's judgment?
